Important PyOhio Parking Info, Schedule Changes, & Volunteering

PyOhio is July 26-27 in Cleveland, OH

Important Parking Info

TL;DR: We recommend parking in the Central or South garages and following all signs and instructions or finding independent parking in the area.

For more details on campus parking requirements and other options in the area see: Directions & Parking

Schedule Changes

Unfortunately a few speakers won’t be able to make it to PyOhio this year. In order to make best use of the rooms we’ve moved a some talks and will have Ballroom A available for Open Spaces for the first half of Saturday.

Be sure to check the PyOhio Schedule for the latest.

Volunteers Needed

We need volunteer Session Chairs for both days! Session Chairs introduce the speakers and help them keep on time. We will provide full instructions before your scheduled time slot. If you’d like to help, please join our separate volunteer list now.

We’ll be sending a message Friday afternoon with more details for signing up for a shift and will use that list if we need volunteer help with anything else.

Friday Reception

All registered attendees are welcome to join us for an Informal Reception at the conference venue on Friday, July 25 at 6pm. We’ll have an overview of PyOhio (especially for first-time attendees!) and a performance by keynoter Jessica Garson (as Messica Arson!) Afterward take some time to mingle and coordinate off-site dinner plans.

Masks Required

Reminder: Face masks are required in all indoor PyOhio spaces during the event, including the Friday Reception. See our Health & Safety Guidelines for details.
