PyOhio needs to fill our hotel block by Friday, June 27!
Our hotel block has a revised rate of $209/night for the conference weekend.
If you haven’t yet booked yet, please consider using our hotel block.
If you booked at a different hotel, please consider canceling and booking using our block.
If you’ve already booked via our block or directly with the Crowne Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse Square, no changes are needed. We were able to cross-reference attendees with the existing reservations.
The details:
We received numerous requests for a hotel block in 2024 and based on this we made a commitment on a block at the Crowne Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse Square for 2025. We weren’t able to share the link as early as we hoped and the original rate was higher than surrounding hotels causing the block to be under-utilized. PyOhio is responsible for covering a portion of the unsold rooms and as of now, the liability would threaten our ability to keep PyOhio events free to attend.
The hotel has agreed to a revised rate of $209/night which is now more competitive with surrounding hotels for that weekend. If you booked through the block at the higher rate you should see the new rate reflected on your reservation.
